Dishoom is a very stylish film and very different from typical masala movies.And even though the film lags in the second half, it is not long before the entertainment and the action sequences pick up pace. The direction is tight, justifying the grand effect that the movie displays. While the action sequences thrill, the jokes will keep the audiences in splits – mostly. What keeps the film going apace is the incredible bonding and synchronised behaviour of the actors. Dishoom cast is capable enough to carry it off, what with John Abraham, Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez in the mix with action and uncertainty thrown in in equal measure to wow the audience. Dishoom script is by Rohit Dhawan and Tushar Hiranandani is extraordinary in parts, but drifts into predictability on occasions. The thrills derived keep you on the edge of the seat even as you break out in laughter from the wisecracks. Providing this kick are some good performances from the lead actors.
